  • This one was on the market for sale for quite a while and I never understood why it wasn’t snapped up. Did anyone here tour it?

  • When you can’t sell you try to rent for too much money!

This place is pretty darn sweet, not too far off market rate either considering the quality.

  • Love it, very classy.

  • Am I wrong that only the top floor bedroom has any privacy, and even then, doesn’t have a door? It’d be tough to find two people willing to split this. If it was a true two bedroom, I’d say the price is okay, but this would appeal to a verrrrry limited market. Maybe DINKS who want a spare bedroom for guests?

  • Surprised some are saying the price is high. I see way too much junk in much worse areas asking for more. I think this is a great deal! There are too few places in DC with a wow factor like this one for $3,500.

  • THAT is a cool house. And at $3,500, a steal IMO.

  • Lovely, but slightly out of my price range. But I don’t think it’s outrageously priced, given all that you’re getting.

  • Solid job trying to include the stairs in EVERY photo. $3,500 is not bad for that location and somewhere between 1100-1200 sqft. Not a deal, but guessing it will lease for that price.

  • Those stairs freak me out. No railing on the non-wall side??

  • I was in this place when it was on the market about 7-8 years ago and was going for around $899k. It was on the market for about two years before it was sold in the low $700k. The design has merit, but, the place is only eight feet wide and less than 1200 sq ft. It’s not worth $3,500 a month rent.

  • I toured this house about a month ago. It was very nicely done, but very narrow. Also the entire house is completely open. The bedroom on the 3rd floor , the master bathroom, and the bedroom/office on the 2nd floor are all without doors or walls. So it is great for a single person looking for the metropolitan lifestyle, but impossible for anyone with an idea of having a roommate or house guests. Also, I am willing to bet most furniture would not fit.
