  • Nice, price seems fair if you’re looking for furnished. 5-1 ends up a group house.

  • The price seems like a big reach for only 1.5 bathrooms. If I were a family, I’d pay no more than $3000-3200.
If they intend to rent as a group house, there’s no way they would get this price.

  • Great deal! I bet it is rented by the weekend.

  • I actually think this could be a great deal for 3 people (late 20s, early 30s?) looking for a ‘group house’ alternative. Agree that the 1.5 bathroom situation isn’t ideal, but $1,300 would be a great deal for a huge house, parking, spare room, etc.

    • but not those in their 40’s, 50’s or 60’s?

      • i love the golden girls just as much as the next person, but i don’t think that age group is the typical demographic for group living.

    • FWIW, I’ve lived in a group house with 4 people for the past 6 years, and we have 1.5 baths. We really haven’t had any issues with bathroom conflicts.

  • If it were me renting out my house furnished while I’m on assignment or something for a year, I would most certainly NOT be renting it out as a group house.

  • Cute house, but this is overpriced, IMO. If it were closer to the metro or closer to downtown, sure. But not for 1.5 baths in MtP.

    • Not close to metro? Are you kidding? The Columbia Heights metro is no more than 4 blocks away. Plus lots of bus lines 2-3 blocks away.
      It’s a beautiful space – good deal.

      • I didn’t say it isn’t close to the metro, I said it would be more worth it if it were closer. Google says it’s a 10 minute walk, which really isn’t bad, but factoring in the cost + 4 people sharing bathroom (assuming one person per bedroom) + 10 minute walk, I think it’s overpriced.

      • Not that I agree with their point, but anonnn didn’t say it wasn’t close to metro. Sometimes the reading comprehension leaves a lot to be desired around here.
