  • I wish the molding was a little more ornate but, other than that, yes please.

  • There are 1.5 more bathrooms than bedrooms in this house. What is it with rich people and their toileting requirements?

  • Best house porn I’ve seen in a while!

  • what a lovely home. for this location, i think it is priced perfectly. (and there is a potential income property!)

  • I wish there were more pictures of the kitchen but gosh that’s a beautiful house.

    • I suspect the kitchen is a little iffy for the price, from pics of the virtual tour pre-refresh(google it).

      • I really don’t like the kitchen. This whole “open upper cabinets” trend needs to go away. It’s not practical for people who actually use their kitchen. Though I suppose if you’re buying a $2million + house you probably don’t.

        • It’s not even that it’s just “open upper cabinets.” Look at the cabinets on the back wall. The two sets aren’t flush with each other, and the “cabinet” over the fridge is off-centered. It looks more like some Ikea bookcases nailed to the wall, rather than open cabinetry.

  • I’m confused by the upper level. Is that a huge attic or a short 2nd upper floor?
Googling around to find out, I found the tour photos pre-staging, and pre-kitchen refresh. Fun art!

And I think it’s just an unfinished short 2nd upper floor. Potential for an extra room!

Only comment on the new tour: I find the columns framing each doorway to be terribly tacky.

  • If I had 2.3 million this is exactly what I would buy. So gorgeous.

  • I’ll take it!

  • I would never want to live in Georgetown, but for a house this great. I would make an exception.

Aren’t pretty much all the streets in Georgetown sought after?
