  • dang, that turned out realllll ugly.

  • Fresh fruit and dog food at the Coh-na Sto
    The times, they are a-changin’

  • I’m happy that space is being used for something, and this is decently practical here, but i really hope they’ll put in a real sign. Now, come on Hilltop, open already!

  • And a free mattress topper for the first customer….Let’s hope this one is legit and maybe more like
Window’s cafe and not just another liquor store run by a criminal selling drugs and liquor to underage kids (aka as Fairmont liquor and located on the other corner of this block). However the trash in front of the store is more consistent with what Fairmont liquor is doing… too bad!

  • any manner of fresh fruit or produce is a much welcome addition to the neighborhood! also i walked by hilltop today.. the door was open and it looks nowhere near ready to open.. lots of plastic wrap and dust, i think i spotted the beginnings of a bar on the right side.

  • boochow

I was there over the weekend. The cashier was a pleasant young lady- unlike the prior business owner here. They had a lot of toiletry items as well as lunch meat, sodas etc. It looks like they may be going for more of a Sonyas vibe with basic corner store necessities as well as some traditional food items.

  • These are great businesses we should support and encourage in our neighborhoods. Hopefully, the NIMBYs and negative haters will learn to embrace small business. Much better than another dirty CVS opening up.
