Looks fantastic! Can’t wait to stop by.

  • So, they only take consignment on high-end items and expect you to donate the rest? I’ll stick to buffalo exchange, thanks.

    • Hi Acdc! This is Tameka from Bartered Threads and we would like to Thank you for visiting Bartered Threads Thrift Boutique. We are often referred to as a “consignment” store, however, we are not writing consignment contracts at this time. My sister and I founded Bartered Threads in May of 2012. At the time we started, we consigned merchandise exclusively bad that continued for 18 months. The practice of consigning caused us to price items higher than we were comfortable with. As an independent, mom and pop type, small business, Bartered Threads’ strives to differentiate ourselves by offering unique products, exceptional service, personalized feel and affordable pricing. Other larger, chain retailers such as Buffalo Exchange and Crossroads are able to offer other services that are not available as of yet at Bartered Threads due to financial constraints. We gladly accept your clothing and small home furnishing donations and purchase items by other means as well. We are in the process of coordinating a weekly clothing giveaway/and or swap to service the community. We appreciate your feedback and hope we can gain your business in the future. Thanks again.

  • I miss the old watch shop 🙁

    • Hi NE Resident! This Tameka from Bartered Threads Thrift Boutique. Yes, I can imagine that Mr. Anthony is missed in the Brookland Community as he was here for over 40 years. We have not had the pleasure of meeting him and understand that he has since retired. Thank you for your feedback on Bartered Threads thread. Take care!
