  • what does one do with 5 balconies?

  • Yea, no way.

  • I lived in that building for a year (3 years ago)…as did the roaches in our apartment and monsterous roaches in the basement. Just thinking about it still gives me the heebie jeebies.

  • Beautiful building, gorgeous space.

  • Nice place, though I’m surprised to notice there’s apparently no central air, considering the price. In any case I can’t believe anyone would part with $48,000/year in after-tax income for the privilege of living there. Go buy a house.

  • I looked at this place to buy about 3 years ago. There is real beauty to it, like that gigantic living room, the wood floors and the balconies, BUT…those balconies are only big enough to maybe put a plant on and the windows are very old and drafty unless they’ve been replaced, which I doubt. Combine that with no central air and you will freeze in the winter and broil in the summer. It was overpriced then and now someone is trying to make up for their foolishness. It would make a pretty great group house if it were half the rent. Otherwise, I’m not sure who would rent it out.
