  • wow – Mom must be SO proud. Not every day you get four sons arrested on one crime!

  • this is what happens when you only read the first page of the baby names book.

  • omg those names

  • This must have been too far for the PG crew to drive. Wait til they find out this DC run family gang is infringing on their profits though.

  • I’m shocked they didn’t get away with it. Rooms for rent at the Alexander residence!

  • These master criminals only managed to steal $800, and it had a dye pack. And now they’re looking at a minimum of 5 years, for a crime that would have paid them $200 each.

    • I’ve always wondered why banks… There are cameras everywhere. Clearly these kids aren’t doing a cost benefit analysis.

  • “Allesha” sounds feminine. Presuming this is the sister of the bunch. Was she driving the getaway car?

  • This is tragic. Their poor parents and family. Stupid stupid kids.

    • I know – I’m sure their parents and family provided great examples for the ALexander brood, and worked hard to keep them on the straight and narrow. But somerimes, there’s nothing family can do – a good kid just falls in with the wrong crowd and turns to a life of crime. Or four kids, as the case may be. But either way, I’m sure the parents and family bear no responsibility here at all.

      • I think I sense sarcasm…

      • How on earth do you know how they were raised. Good grief if I were to call you a hipster you would read me the riot act yet you impugn a family with whom you are not acquainted. I didn’t even know you were being sarcastic until the last line; I though finally somebody with some sense and mercy. What’s to lose giving somebody the benefit of the doubt? Wouldn’t you want the same?

        • The only thing I know about the Alexanders is that four (FOUR!) of their children were arrested for bank robbery. It is literally a crime family. I don’t think I can be accused of leaping to conclusions if I post that something is amiss with life at home. If it turns out that they all are honor role students who desperately needed money for their Godfather’s (err, Grandfather’s) medical treatments, or that they didn’t actually do it (it was really Billy, Bob, Brooke and Burt Barkington, from down the street), I’ll absolutely come back and apologize.
Actually, I take that back – I do know one other thing about the Alexanders. They thought it was an awesome idea to give all their kids names starting with A. I don’t think reveals anything about their parenting, though I certainly wouldn’t do it.
Finally, you can call me a heartless hipster if you like. The difference, though, is that you don’t know anything about me (other than that I post on PoPville – which I suppose is decent, though incaccurate, evidence that I’m a hipster . . . ) Whereas I know that FOUR of the Alexander children were just arrested for bank robbery.

          • LOL. Thorough and convincing.

          • But you have no evidence to support your comments about the parents; you have made a supposition. My view is that comments like yours, of which there are many, compound an already painful situation for a family and community and are unnecessary and you will see as you grow older, are often wrong. Choose mercy.

  • Sounds like Ma Barker and her boys are back. Or shall I say Ma Alexander.

  • time for a community impact statement to make sure these four idiots get the sentence they deserve and to deter the copycats

  • I hope it was Colombo who solved the mystery of who robbed his bank.

  • Majority of bank robbers get caught…..I feel bad for their parents.
