Your Afternoon Animal Fix

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. Your photos will go into the queue (usually 3-4 weeks wait) and will be posted in the order I receive them. If you’ve already entered your pet and would like to do so again – that’s no problem – just space the entries out a bit. Please try to send horizontal photos 640×480 (medium size on your iphone) if possible.

“WHS Foster Shug from Logan Circle. A super happy and sweet senior gal (12 years young). Her favorite activities – snuggles, belly rubs, naps in the sun, strolls in the city and riding shotgun in the car. Senior Dogs Rock!”

Is Sticks a model? Sure looks like one!
Pretty sure Spot wants to come play/snuggle/get treats from me. I can tell.
    Nice smile on Shug.

  • Sticks! How can anyone resist those eyes??
I can just imagine Spot (who is gorgeous) approaching the camera and making it hard to get a picture of her.
    Shug looks very happy.

  • Shug’s Foster Mom here-absolutely adore my senior gal. I fear she may end up a failed foster. GREAT NEWS- City Paws is holding a Washington Animal Rescue League (WARL) adoption event this Saturday from 10:00-noon. There will be lots of cute dogs/puppies and kittens available for adoption. All animals are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on shots. Stop by to fill your Saturday “Animal Fix” and find your new family member. Also, check out the WARL kitty and puppy Cams which are in partnership with Animal Planet. Warning-they are addictive.

Oh and if you heard about the Sochi dogs in DC -they are at WARL as well.

  • Hooray for foster parents!!

    The whole lot is adorable!
