  • Why is it “as-is”? that seems to be the catch. Either that or they want a bidding war. the price seems great given the location, etc. The 2nd bedroom doesn’t seem microscopic, although the main living area seems a little cramped. the problem with these 2 level places is that they seem a bit claustrophobic and if the interior stairs are the only way to maneuver stuff, life can get awkward.

  • The place seems upside down to me. Living area in the basement, bedrooms on the nice, well-lit floor. Not for me.

    • I somehow missed that–that’s the catch. And if it’s “as-is”, I wonder what’s going on in the basement–maybe a little mold or leakage issue. You normally can get an actual basement 2 br with this amount of space or more for less money.

  • I was reading “AS IS” as applying specifically to the baseboard heater in the half bath, since there wasn’t a period after “conveys.” But I guess it’s more likely that “as is” would apply to the whole property rather than to a specific item/system.

  • I’m Sheena Saydam from Keller Williams Capital Properties and would like to address the “AS-IS” question everyone seems to have. It actually only applies to the baseboard heater in the 1st floor bathroom. We are sorry for the confusion and would love to show you the property if you are interested. It is a really great property!

  • My husband and I looked at unit #3 in this building last year, which sold for $645,000. Unit #3 was on the upper floors of the building, but did not have a nice sized open kitchen like this unit. Unit #3 also did not have bathroom renovations like this unit. Seemed like a nice building with outdoor space as well. We were not thrilled with the heating/AC situation in the building and felt that unit #3 was over priced. The main difference between this unit and unit #3 is that this unit doesn’t have parking. You can knock $50,000 off of the unit #3 sales price to account for the parking spot.
