  • Kind of blah finishes (especially the bannisters and closet doors) for such a potentially beautiful space. The kitchen’s nice though.

    • You are so right. However, I would have carried the finish from the island into the kitchen, especially since its so open. Might have also done with a metal bannister..

I used to always admire these windows when walking my dog around the neighborhood and wonder what it’s like inside. It’s a lot more sterile than I would have imagined, but overall pretty classy. If I were a condo type of person I would definitely have to consider this one.

    • It’s a bit too sterile for my tastes. I like how it looks from the outside, but there’s just no charm indoors. (Though I guess you could easily step up the interior decorating game here.)

Yeah, I think the sight lines allow for a lot of personal touches to be added, and most of the rooms feel bigger than typical condos in the area.

  • It’s pretty plain but that’s easily fixed with an individual’s furniture and accessories. I love, love, love all the light.

  • I’m not very impressed with this. I like the huge windows and I think the building looks great from the outside, but as Justin mentioned earlier, it feels rather sterile and lacks the sort of charm I would demand for close to a mill.

    • exactly
not impressed at all for just shy of 1 mill
also those bedrooms are somewhat of a joke. i mean they are asking 1 mill…

    • I don’t think the condo lacks charm, I think you lack imagination. It seems like you feel the decorating is sterile, but the beautiful windows, open floor plan, and high ceilings offer unlimited potential.

  • It’s hard to call anything in DC a “good deal” these days. $1m for a condo with $400 monthlies is just crazy! That being said, it’s great space with lots of potential.

  • i’ve always wondered what this place looks like inside. it’s got wonderful curb appeal and beautiful light. really just needs some new furniture, a new banister and maybe an update from all the maple. with the right interior designer, it would be amazing.

  • Super blah inside, but replace the 1995-tract-home bannister and fireplace with something incredible for a few grand, and it could be incredible.

No idea if it’s a good deal. I’ve given up on figuring that out.

  • I like the tall windows and the living room looks nice, but the creation of the loft makes the kitchen and loft area both look cramped. The bedrooms (are they also in the lofted area? I think so, but I’m not sure) look cramped too.

  • Those are some seriously cheap fixtures in the bathroom.

When will the light wood cabinets & black granite trend ennnnddddd?!

  • I’m sorry, since when is $417 a low condo fee?

  • I’ll add that it’s blah.

However, the biggest issue for me are the small bedrooms. There seems to be a lot of open loft space, i wonder if at least one of the bedrooms could be expanded.
