I’d be calling this Truxton Circle, but it doesn’t really matter, since it flew off the shelf in four days…solidly over $800,000.

Located just south of Bloomingdale, developers were still wary of this area during the Tony Williams era revival of the city. With NOMA in hearty swing, and a high demand from buyers for renovated property in urban DC, development is on the upswing. Several of the large Victorian row homes in this neighborhood have started being converted into condos, which is driving the prices per square foot.

Last week, after posting some median sold prices, someone commented that it would be helpful to see that info on each area. At the moment, the closest details stats report from rbi for this area is by the 20001 zip code. This zip code includes Bloomingdale, Shaw, and LeDroit Park. The median sold price for this part of the city in March 2014 was $467,500. You can see the report here. That factors in both both condos and houses.
