  • not a good deal, not a bad deal. that’s standard. if you are looking for a place in that price range – Navy Yard is an excellent n’hood.

  • If utilities are included (gas and electricity), then it’s a pretty competitive deal. The location is good and the building is fairly new with all the expected amenities of a high rise in Navy Yard. All the tenant has to do is move in with their personal belongings and not worry about a single thing. The risk is on the unit owner on the usage of the tenant and the potential damages to their property.

  • I’ve never seen a studio unit in that building, but I’ve been in a 1BR there, and it was really TINY. Nice location, though.

  • I seriously considered buying a 1BR in this building when it was new back in 2006; for being a condo/co-op (I think it’s still a co-op), it has really flimsy finishes (think thin drywall and particle board doors that should be solid). From what was posted on the resident listserv back in those days, the conventional wisdom was how the developer cut a lot of corners on build quality to be the ‘first to market’ in the new Navy Yard/Ballpark neighborhood. It was finished and ready for move in at least a year before ground was broke for Nats Park.
