  • WAYYYYYYY over priced. Give me a freaking break $2,200 to live in a basement on 10th street. Cant you get a 1br brand new in one of the massive apt buildings on 14th for that price? Who would rent this?

    • Also: also, better-than-average chance of a greedy, inexperienced landlord (my assumption anytime I see an overpriced, individually-rented unit).

      • And your assumption is based on what exactly? Greedy? Inexperienced? oh. Please. Do you own property in the District and stay on top of the market? DC is expensive. Yes, $2200 is a lot. But rent is high esp in that part of the city.

  • The idea of paying $2200 to live in a basement makes me want to cry.

  • The adjacent commercial property (historic mason hall containing a CVS) floods a lot, and the utility courtyard adjoining this house is the most rat-infested stinky place I’ve been in DC. The apartment is so spiffy because it probably flooded last year and had to be rehabbed. DANGER! WARNING!

  • this is just a really bad deal no matter how you spin it, next!
