From OPM:

“Federal agencies in the Washington, DC, area are OPEN and employees have the OPTION for UNSCHEDULED LEAVE OR UNSCHEDULED TELEWORK.”

  • Petworthians and Co, how slick is the drive down Georgia? How are the side streets? It kills me to have to take another day off but I don’t know if I should be driving these two babies to daycare in this.

I just drove to Silver Spring via N.Cap/Blair/16thStreet… it’s not good, especially on the DC side (more snow/slush on roads). I slid down a hill.

    • I just drove down Georgia to Florida and then down 6th street. Everything was a-ok for me. Just go slow and put enough distance between you and the car in front of you in case you need to stop.

  • I got in at 6:30. No problems on the Green or Red lines.

  • The BF witnessed a car skid into a ditch and flip over this morning on River Rd and I passed at least 6 accidents on the way in from Leesburg…

  • I would really like to the criteria OPM considers before making a decision to close, issue a 2hr delay, remain open or open plus option to telework.

It seems all over the place this winter…
