  • is this another new stabbing from the weekend, or more follow up on an old stabbing?

  • That old photo of Asylum evoked a momentary blast of precious memories. RIP.

  • It’s okay the owners of Fed were just using the old name District to help get people to come to the space. They’ll reopen it in a few months under the name “Zeppelin”

  • Another Admo “restaurant” bites it because of violence. Anyone ever go there for a meal? Hard to believe they were operating on a restaurant liquor license, meanwhile newer actual restaurants can’t get new licenses because of the moratorium.

    • I can’t remember… do liquor licenses “convey” with a given space/premises? If so, maybe that’s how they get around it.
      .
I remember when that space was named “Chloe,” but I can’t remember what it was before that.

      • At some point before it was “Showboat” I believe they also shut down when someone got stabbed. Its just a stabby building clearly.

    • That was actually the first night that “District” had been open in more than a year and the first time under the new ownership group.

    • I had friends of one of the old partners and we would watch Redskins on the “Saki level” here and there. The bar food was actually pretty decent. I went to the basement and top floor club once when we got hooked up and wanted to leave almost immediately.

  • Saki is back?!

  • Indefinitely, as in Phil Robertson was suspended from Duck Dynasty indefinitely or indefinitely indefinitely. The word seems to have several meanings these days.
