Pete Seeger Singalong Saturday Feb 1, 4-5:30pm, Columbia Heights Civic Plaza

A reader sends Pete Seeger Singalong Saturday Feb 1, 4-5:30pm, Columbia Heights Civic Plaza:

“Come out in the (relatively) warm weather to celebrate the life of Pete Seeger and make some folk music outside for the masses in Columbia Heights. We’ll gather in the plaza just north of the Metro.

Bring your voices, your guitars, your banjos, and anything else you’d like to contribute. We’ll pick and strum and sing the classics (This Land is Your Land, If I Had a Hammer, Where Have All the Flowers Gone) and will sing others depending on the inclinations of the group. Anything goes, really.

The more the merrier. No previous musical talent or experience required–just an appreciation for the great man who lives on through all of us.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
