  • Location is phenomenal–the only possible quibble is that the kitchen is a bit cramped. I’d rent that in a second if I could afford it.

    • Compared to many 1 bedrooms, the kitchen is not bad at all. Many that I’ve seen (and I’ve seen a lot in my apt hunts!!) lack that extra counter space on the wall opposite the appliances. I think this is a pretty good deal!

      • not bad at all. i’d say it’s priced right. but gahhh why must it be so hard to find a dishwasher.

        • The big early apt buildings had public dinidng rooms, which probably drew from smaller buildings nearby. Kitchens were small from the beginning. This is unlike other cities, such as Chicago where my typical 20s garden apartment studio had a real eat-in kitchen! Even in” best address” buildings and large apartments, the kitchen space can e suprisingly limited. It’s just the way things evolved here.

  • Fantastic neighborhood. It looks like a nice place too, and a good deal.

  • Besides location, what’s special about this for the price? No outdoor space? No building amenities? W/d in kitchen? Natural light? Add your Mint membership to the rent.

    • do you need more than the location? it’s a small building on a great block, and that is a great price for it. i know of no ‘amenities’ that are actually worth the money you have to pay for them (in-building gyms are a total scam). what else would they offer? and as for outdoor space, kalorama park is right there behind the other side of the street. what fancy cheap (and imaginary) apartments have you been looking at that are a better deal?
