Pie Pop-Up From Whisked This Sunday 8am-3pm at Qualia

“Qualia Coffee is proud to announce that on Sunday, November 10, Whisked! will be serving sweet and savory pies, by the slice for $5 as well as whole pies for $24. That means no bagels, parfait, scones, or cookies, just tasty, tasty sweet and savory pies.

Sweet offerings will include holiday classics like Pumpkin and Apple, and will be supplemented by Chocolate Bourbon Pecan, and Salted Caramel Apple, a Whisked specialty. Savory options will be Sausage and Cheddar, as well as the vegetarian friendly Caramelized Leek and Goat Cheese. As always, Qualia will be serving freshly roasted single-origin coffees from all over the world, espresso, teas, and seasonal beverages like cider and hot chocolate.

  • So we have small business pop-ups and architectural pop-ups? Surely there’s an energetic trademark attorney out there somewhere, looking to shake some action….

  • Their Salted Caramel Apple is so good. I think that Whisked is also the one that makes the pumpkin/chocolate ganache pie, which was lovely. But their pies are so small for the price.

  • The pies are inconsistent (the crust sometimes is burnt, some of the flavorings are non-existent) and overpriced. Other cities seem to have attracted much better “artisan” pie bakers. Pies generally seem to be a weak point of bakeries and grocers here.
