  • Probably too high at the moment for a house that’s .7 miles from that particular Metro stop and within two blocks of Brookland Manor. Franklin is a busy street for MD commuters, too.

That said, even at that price the investment would probably pay off in 5-10 years. With everything going on at NoMa, Union Market, and Brookland and all of the underutilized space around the RIA metro it seems like change is inevitable…

  • Did they photograph the bedrooms with mattress-free bedframes to obscure how small the rooms are? (It’s a genuine question–the frames seem to have thrown off my sense of perspective.)

And the problem in my eyes isn’t so much Franklin’s role as a through street, but the fact that the house backs onto the parking lot of a liquor store.

  • Seems a little high…. I was expecting it to have central air for that price.

  • Dan, please do a GDoN on one of the units listed for the Ella.

  • I was curious about this house. I pass it everyday on the way to my son’s school. Both Franklin and 14th streets are busy. I even think $500K would be too high honestly!
