Nest DC Food Drive!:

“I hope you’re enjoying the holiday season so far! As you know, from the very first day our nest took flight, we’ve been community focused. This emphasis on doing good business and being a company that truly cares for our city is exactly what drew me into the Nest family! In the last five years, business has blossomed and our network has seriously grown. We feel both proud and obligated to put that good fortune to use – and we hope you will join us this holiday season!

In the spirit of giving, we’re partnering with DC’s very own Bread for the City to raise donations for their Holiday Helpings program. Our goal is to raise $3000 by December 20th, which will provide healthy holiday meals for over 100 families!

Here’s how it works – donating online is super easy. Since Bread for the City can really stretch the value of a dollar with wholesale purchases, we’re incentivizing cash donations over cans this year. For more details on how else you can donate, refer to the attached document or contact lidya(at)nest-dc.com.

Every dollar counts and I’m certain you agree that no one – in any city – should ever go hungry, anytime of the year. Thank you so much for your generosity and for helping ensure more families in the District can enjoy a holiday feast in the comfort of their own homes this year!

Thank you very much!

P.S. Bread for the City is an AWESOME non-profit that works to provide food, clothing, health care, legal assistance and comprehensive social services to vulnerable DC residents. They recognize that all people share a common humanity – and approach their work by creating an atmosphere of dignity and respect. They provide truly phenomenal services year round. Check out their website for more info how else you might be able to get involved!

P.P.S. If you’re bored, check out this fun Parks and Rec spoof (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZfNQIMRyxA) we made to promote the food drive!”
