1212 18th Street, NW

Pei Wei Asian Diner is located in the former Mattress Discounters space next to Nando Peri Peri and underneath 18th Street Lounge.  You can see their menu here. From a press release:

“Pei Wei Asian Diner, the fast-casual restaurant concept by P.F. Chang’s, brings its first Washington, D.C. location to Dupont Circle today. Offering a fresh, wok’d-to-order menu, Pei Wei’s cuisine incorporates a variety of 35 fresh ingredients that are hand-cut daily. All of Pei Wei’s menu items are priced under $10, with entrees starting at just $6.39.

The new location will feature Asian-inspired entrees such as Pad Thai, Mandarin Kung Pao Chicken and Honey Seared Shrimp, along with lighter dishes such as the Asian Chopped Chicken Salad, Pei Wei Spicy Chicken Salad and Vietnamese Chicken Salad Rolls. Pei Wei also offers an extensive gluten-free menu including tasty options such as the Gluten Free Pei Wei Sweet & Sour Chicken, Gluten Free Pei Wei Spicy Shrimp and more.

To complement the chain’s famous Traditional Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Pei Wei also recently introduced two new lettuce wrap offerings – Thai Chicken and Korean Steak

Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps provide a Thai-inspired twist on Pei Wei’s traditional lettuce wraps, with all-natural wok-seared chicken, and a combination of hand-chopped vegetables including red onions, red bell peppers, scallions, along with cilantro and mint, all tossed in a tangy citrus soy sauce.
Korean Steak Lettuce Wraps feature wok-seared marinated steak tossed with fresh carrots, bean sprouts, red onions, scallions, cucumbers, and toasted sesame seeds, drizzled with a Korean red chile sauce.

The Dupont Circle Pei Wei location also features two new sides: zesty Ginger Orange Edamame and spicy Szechuan Green Beans. Both pair especially well with any of the new lettuce wraps, rounding out a great everyday option for a light, yet satisfying lunch.

At dinner, the new variety of shareable sides are ideal to enjoy with friends or family before an entrée such as the new Wok Roasted Vegetable Salad, or a signature dish or noodle bowl wok’d fresh to order.

Because all items are freshly made to order, Pei Wei guests can customize each dish to their liking, whether that be lightening up a signature entrée with steamed chicken or shrimp, heating things up by increasing a dish’s spice level, or choosing to have sauces served on the side.

“We are pleased to bring our distinctive Asian-inspired cuisine to Washington, D.C.,” said K.C. Moylan, President of Pei Wei Asian Diner. “We look forward to offering our guests an array of bold, fresh dishes that will be a great addition to the Dupont Circle area.”

With a unique, fast-casual dine-in experience or quick, convenient take-out, Pei Wei is located at 1212 18th St. NW, Dupont Circle. Pei Wei is open Sunday–Thursday from 10:30 a.m.– 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m.–10 p.m. for both dine-in and take-out customers. Take-out orders can be placed by calling (202) 551-1025 or visiting www.peiwei.com/OrderOnline.aspx.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
