  • Cute place, but it’s overpriced. It’s tiny and “off the beaten path” a bit. $2,200-2,300 seems about right.

  • Seems like a fair price. Its a bit farther east than some people might like, but for that price its definitely nicer than any 2br you would find closer to 14th.

  • Huh, didn’t know you could get that much on the other side of Sherman.

  • Ya, once you pass over Sherman the clouds appear and everyone tries to rob you

  • This is $200 less than my current apartment on U Street (2BR/2.5BA, built in last 10 years, 2000 sq feet).
This place is way overpriced for such a stabby ‘hood. Can’t wait until interest rates go up; people’s PTI is too high right now.

  • Clearly you people don’t keep current with the market. The house across the street just sold for $705k.

  • This is a really nice street. I lived on this street for several years a few years back and recently visited my old neighbors. The street is very quiet since the cars drive downhill and the houses are a bit away from the steet up on a hill. It is very close to walk down to U-Street or 9:30 Club area if you just walk down Sherman Avenue. Sherman Avenue looks a great compared to what is used to. To some extend this location is close to all things you want, DCUSA Mall is about 10-15min walk, U-Street is about a 10-15min walk and Petworth metro area and Georgia Avenue are the same. Georgia Avenue is really clearing up around there and there are some great family run restaurants around and some smaller ones coming to Sherman Avenue. I think the price is on the high side, but I bet they will have a lot of interest given the location and the fact that this seems brand-new and was designed as a condo rather than an apartment.
