From the Events Calendar – Vinoteca Wine Class: White Wines from France

Vinoteca Wine Class: White Wines from France:

“October 1 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Join Vinoteca for its weekly fall wine class as it explores white wines from France. Led by sommelier Tim Galvin, the class will involve tastings of six wines, from Bordeaux blanc to muscadet. Since its opening five years ago, Vinoteca has set out to be a place not just to enjoy, but to learn about good wine. Its fall classes will take place on Tuesday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the restaurant’s cozy upstairs lounge. Classes include food pairings from Executive Chef Lonnie Zoeller and a $5 gift card for future enjoyment at Vinoteca.

All wine classes are $40 per person plus tax. Space is very limited and reservations are encouraged as soon as possible, as seats fill up very quickly. Any person who registers for all three classes and the wine dinner will receive a $5 discount on each event. To register for either the classes or wine dinner, please contact Vinoteca at 202-332-9463 or at wine(at)vinotecadc.com”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
