  • I guess this is a decent deal, but it shouldn’t be. Places like this used to be affordable (read: much less expensive than this). Given its location, size, bathrooms, and age, I think places like this should still be less expensive, but I guess this is just what this city is like these days.

    • It’s less expensive than a sleek new condo would be. I think it’s priced appropriately. The location’s really good and (despite what the real estate profession would have you believe) most renters don’t care that much if everything’s shiny and new.

      • I’m also thinking this would be an excellent find for someone with a big dog. Since the listing is silent on the matter I’m assuming dogs are allowed, and the house is really close to the park.

      • It better be less expensive than a new condo. This place is dated and only has one bathroom (and as a renter I can confirm these two things really matter when I’m considering places). It also doesn’t provide the safety that condos provide. Plus, it’s kind of a hole. Someone will probably take it but its a shame that someone will pay that much to live in this place.

  • I would have loved this as a renter. It’s nice (yes, a bit outdated) and more room than what I paid to live in a basement 2 bedroom in North Dupont almost 4 years ago. AND it has a great outdoor space.
