  • One day I woke up and a whole slew of vintage shops had cropped up on my street. There were just too many of them to make it, and I’m not surprised that the weeding out process has begun.

  • I am going to guess, and this is just a guess, that not being open on Saturdays – the day when most people go shopping – probably did not help the business model that much.

  • I’m surprised that anyone bothers trying to open vintage/upscale thrift shops. There’s so much dirt cheap clothing at real thrift stores (including Martha’s Outfitters, on 14th just three blocks from this place), why bother paying more than $5 per article?

  • They had some nice stuff, but way too overpriced. Ain’t nobody got time for that!
