Given the time of night, I think we can assume alcohol was involved.

  • This is why we can’t have nice things

Yikes! Don’t drink and drive, kids

  • If I had a new’ish BMW, there’s no way in hell I’d park on the street, especially in this neighborhood. Between the churches, bars, athletic fields, and restaurants the area is constantly filled with people from the ‘burbs desperate to find parking and/or drunk driving. Your car is going to eventually get damaged if you park on the street in area everyday and you won’t get restitution as the culprit will flee back to MD or VA.

    • There are some who can actually afford to not worry about their BMW parked on the streets.

      • I would also venture to assume that they could then probably afford to also not worry about paying $150 for a monthly parking spot. Seems like a no-brainer to me, considering how much the BMW dealership charges for parts & labor!

    • Yes, because clearly you would like, so TOTALLY get “restitution” if the driver at fault lived in DC.
