On March 26, 2012 James Cameron, the explorer and director of “Avatar,” took a remarkable submarine called the DEEPSEA CHALLENGER to the deepest place on Earth.
On Tuesday, June 11, from 12:30pm – 2:30pm, Cameron and members of his expedition will be at the Woodrow Wilson Plaza with the DEEPSEA CHALLENGER.

Please come out to be a part of this historic event as the DEEPSEA CHALLENGE R continues its cross-country journey to its final home at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Massachusetts.

I am cautiously optimistic. I was ridiculously optimistic prior to Mad Momos opening, so now I will throw a little caution in. But I have to admit dogs and beer gardens do make me a bit giddy… Mad Momos abruptly closed back in January. Updates when more is known. 3605 14th St, NW
