  • That seems crazy, but nothing surprises me anymore.

    • Not too crazy… we’re renting out the smallest bedroom in our house for $1000/month. Based on the Craigslist research I did to figure out how much to charge the tenant, we could probably get at least another $3000 for the other two bedrooms which are much bigger. We’re better located though (just a couple blocks from the Eastern Market metro) so maybe this is a tad high.

  • Also available to buy for $889,500… a little on the high side, IMHO.

  • Living next to a dry cleaners seems pretty toxic. No thanks.

    • ok, i just realized it’s a laundromat. I take that back. but I wouldn’t really enjoy that either.

  • Remember the good ole days when living in a house meant paying less than $1,000 rent? Six years ago I paid $800 for a room in a two bed house on the Hill; then three years ago I paid $850 for a room in a four bed house also on the Hill. So grateful to be settled and not moving for a while!
