  • Great place. $6,500? Probably about $1,000 overpriced. Once you are in that price range, there aren’t a lot of rental comps, so I guess someone could fall in love with it. My guess is it would be worth approx $1 million if sold……..

  • I’m familiar with single-adverb exclamations as responses to questions (Although is it a bit of a cliche? Truly!), but I think this is the first time I’ve seen someone start things off with a single-adverb exclamation.

  • Yeeesh. I used to live across the street from that place in a 2 bedroom for a quarter of that price. Granted it wasn’t nearly as nice but that is steep.

  • Yowzers. I lived about 4 houses down, in the 2 floor penthouse apartment, so a decent comparator. Not nearly as fancy, but I might say a bit more charming, also with a really large roofdeck, etc. Granted, it was a steal at $2600/month, but still, the price difference is quite something!! I think $6500 is really steep – if they’re thinking of a family to move in, a family could get a whole house (and then some) for that price – and not sure who the target roommate demographic is who would pay at least $2100 apiece for a shared apartment – for that price, you could each get a really nice 1br!

  • Way overpriced for that neighborhood. Sorry, it isn’t Logan.

  • Wasn’t this house (or another unit in this house) a GDoN at some point? I recognize that porch — it’s got the frame thing for a roof, but no actual roof.

  • Easy, group house, under $2k each, party rock!

  • Um, if a row house has a unit below, and a unit above, it’s sort of crazy to call the unit above the “PentHouse!” Am I right?

I know not everyone is interested in buying, for various reasons, but good lord $6,500 gets you one hell of a home as a mortgage payment (considerably nicer than this place, anyway). For that price I really expected it to be furnished.
