  • Takoma was a HOT MESS around 6:30. Thousands of people. Jumped on the 63 South to go home and the driver was telling passengers he’d nearly been mobbed when he pulled in. He was hilarious. Two of my favorite snippets from the bus ride home:

Driver: “I don’t know nothin’. All I saw was a bunch of people gettin’ off the train. I thought they was givin’ somethin’ away.”

Passenger: “Is the Supervisor there yet”
Driver: “Yeah, he out there … lookin’ stupid”

  • Here’s a pic of the fire; took FD a good while to arrive on the scene.

  • By 8pm moco police still had colesville and east west hwy shut down. I’m just going to blame the fire on the transit center contractors.
