  • What is the blade length law that makes carrying a knife a concealed weapon? 3 inches? Many times when I see a group of kids, at least one of them has a knife clipped to their pocket. If police just stopped those kids to check and make sure it was legal length, which I’m sure many if not most are not, then maybe some of these stabbings wouldn’t happen so often.

    • from the interwebs:
Technically, by law, knives with blades longer than three inches are illegal only with intent to use unlawfully, but as in many states, the burden of proof is typically reversed when dealing with larger knives.
