  • Well, at least the interior is in great shape.

  • I’m not gonna lie, when I first saw the ad I was expecting to see the toilet from Trainspotting.

I have no idea if $8.5K is a good deal or not for that locale. All I know is that you’re gonna have to do a crap ton of work to get a functioning business in this place.

    • Tsar of Truxton

I think it is pretty standard in a commercial lease for a lessee to have to do a substantial amount of work. Typically, a business will want to modify the interior to fit its business needs/style, so I doubt this is a big deal. Often, commercial leases do not even guarantee electricity or running water. The bigger issue I would think is the short-term lease. I would want 10 years if I were going to invest a ton of money in renovations.

  • That’s a pretty large property as it’s the width of two standard rowhome units and goes all the way through. The closest nearby size equivalents are Beirgarten Haus, Star & Shamrock, and R&R Hotel.

And the given image is actually the backside of the building on Maryland Ave. Will make for another nice patio to go along with Argonaut two doors down.

  • Look at the toilet picture — that is 2 toilets w/ no doors — just a wall in between. Ravi Kabobs has the same set up in the lady’s room.
