  • this is a nice apartment – great lay out, nice space….not a great view. However, I think it’s a decent value if it’s a full service building given the location. But in terms of long-term investment potential, I think that area is maxed out.

    • I don’t think anyone in the market for a 400k 1-bedroom condo is looking for investment potential. I think they are looking for location and amenities.

      • perhaps, but we spent a pretty penny on our current condo but believe the area has better investment potential when we go to sell in a few years. That should have something to do with your decision – you certainly don’t want it to be worth less! (I didn’t mean as an investment property as a rental)

  • why are there photos from logan/14st?

    • I thought it was interesting that the listing chose to associate the condo with Logan Circle through that series of pictures.

      • Hilarious that something west of Dupont now tries to capture Logan Circle essence. I remember the bad old days when Logan properties were called Dupont East.

  • It does actually seem to be a high end renovation (in contrast with listings that pretend to be high end but really aren’t), but it is still a pretty small space with a pretty poor view in a pretty unsightly building. I think it could sell just shy of 400k.

    I’d also be curious to see the floorplan because it does not appear to be 663 square feet just looking at the photos. It looks to be a bit smaller than that. Maybe that figure includes the outdoor space.

  • I have the same wood floors in my house, same cabinet finish (color) too. Love the natural wood work. Those people have good taste, albeit the space is a bit small.

  • Nowhere do I see Poggenpohl mentioned. It’s like they aren’t even trying to play generic, “high end” renovation bingo! Sheesh 🙂

    Not my style but it definitely looks nicely done, and a closet that large is nice for such a small space. Not sure where there are 15 photos of various angles of their coffee table though.

  • That backsplash gives me a headache but it’s a nice little place. I really like the closet. View is horrible though.

  • Wow – if I a bit of “private balcony”, I’d certainly put a few plants out there and market it better.

  • Way overdone. those backsplashes will look as awful as c. 1990 Home Depot cupboards and hard to clean stainless steel appliances in no time.

  • Looks nice, but two things: 1) that horrible view and 2) the cabinet in front of the bar stools looks like stained plywood – you can see runs in the finish.

  • ROFL…anyone familier with this building knows what goes on in the woods directly behind this building, least of all in the garage entry, and all the way completely around the entire building and the school yard next door. 400k to view that all day, everyday? No thanks.

    • I live in this building, I park my car in the garage, and not only do I have no idea what you’re talking about, I can tell that you clearly are not as familiar with this building as you say you are. There are no woods behind this building; it backs up to Mass Ave., and there’s no school yard anywhere nearby, let alone next door.

  • Tried to schedule an appointment, but property is gone. Sold in a day.

  • I just called the agent, it’s already under contract, 4 offers, I’m guessing it went above asking.
