  • This seems so inexpensive compared to the U st/Shaw apartments we’ve been seeing lately.

    I have no idea.

    • shaw and u street are more metroaceesible than this place. and hipper. and more fun. and where young people want to be. etc….

  • It’s not the most exciting part of town, but this block is really beautiful. I love those townhouses on R Street. I’d move there if I was looking for a new place. Rent seems very reasonable.

  • I used to live over that way. It is a very beautiful, quiet part of Georgetown. And having Dumbarton Oaks Park outside your front door can’t be beat. I will agree it is not the most exciting part of town, but it certainly isn’t the worst. Price is reasonable.

  • i love this block… seems like a great deal. Dupont metro isn’t all that far for someone with long legs (like myself).

That part of town is beautiful. Being that close to both Dumbarton Oaks and Stachowski’s Deli would pretty much guarantee what I wound up doing almost every afternoon.

  • Shame how these rowhouses are so attractive on the outside and have been stripped long ago of all character and detail on the inside.

  • OMG I would love to live up there on R. Montrose Park is so pretty, this is one of my favorite areas of Georgetown.

  • I love these buildings from the outside, but had no idea they were so meh on the inside.

    • As a young person without a car, I’d rather shoot myself than live there.

      • Dramatic much?

      • Um, I agree it’s not the greatest location that exists in DC but it’s ~two blocks from the Circulator, 2 blocks from the G2, maybe 4 blocks to the best Safeway in the city. Two blocks to Wisconsin… easy walk to M Street. In a beautiful part of the neighborhood. You don’t need to shoot yourself, you need to get over yourself.

  • I’d rather have that circa ’84-85 Accord in the exterior photo. Many of those disintegrated years ago, which leads me to believe the photo might not exactly be current.
