Damn… when I left the house this morning (6:45) there wasn’t any snow except a thin layer on the tops of cars. I’m surprised so many things are closed.
I figured DCA would get the least amount of snow, but that isn’t preventing tomorrow’s flights from being canceled….. *shakes fist in air*

I’m considered to be an “essential employee”, therefore am stuck at work today. This sucks!
I’m far from essential, but company doesn’t do snow days so I’m stuck at work as well.

The Coupe is open 24 hours, and they serve breakfast all day…. sooo they are always open for brunch lol.
Acadiana, Kafe Bohem, Shaw’s Tavern, and SUNdeVICH all report they’re open for lunch.
I wish it were actually snowing…over in this corner of NW, it looks like all rain for the time being, and I have a hard time buying the predictions of multi-inch accumulation in the District since the dusting we did get this morning has been washed away by now. And I was so looking forward to taking a walk in the snow! Ah well, at least I can work from home in my PJs (my office follows suit when the feds close, and most of my work is do-able remotely anyway).

You mean “HAPPY RAIN DAY!” Nothing but a rain storm out here in Laurel…dusting of snow has pretty much been washed away. People are getting a day off for rain? LOL The Weather Channel has sunken to an all time low. They can never predict anything right for DC. If I were a kid, I’d be in heaven but I am missing work and I am pissed
