  • Whats the catch?

With that low of a condo fee, I would guess there is a lot of deferred maintenance issues, however, even if you are looking at monthly $500 special assessments for a few years, this still seems to be a very good deal. What am I missing?

  • Square footage?

    • I think it’s 398 sqft if Redfin is correct.

      • Theres the catch. Even still, I say good deal. This place rents for $1,600 in a couple of days.

        • I’m on the condo board at this building, and nope – not a lot of deferred maintenance issues. The roof was replaced in the last few years, common spaces renovated, new intercom at the gate… The fees are low as there is no lobby/front desk to pay for, and no elevator. It’s a good deal.

        • Sounds perfect for a single person.

    • Also, all the windows seem to face a wall. It’s still a good deal, but even with a balcony it would be depressing.

  • From the photos and the size I think its more of a studio.

    • A place that size would be better off as a studio. Trying to add a bedroom to the mix just takes up precious square footage with walls and doors.

      • I live in a 400 sft 1 bedroom and I would have to disagree. It can totally be done, if they layout is well thought out. I think it’s a good deal. But that electric stove does not look like “gas cooking”.

  • I can attest to the wonderful location as I live up the street. All of the convenience and none of the noise, plus the benefit of being a one-way street. Despite the low sf, this is a pretty good deal.

  • Must be a tiny bedroom, but overall, it looks like a good deal. Great location.

  • Holy cow that is a small apartment. Great street/location though.

  • Does anyone actually have the patience to watch these “virtual tours” with the slow motion in and out, and dull music?

  • I looked at a couple places there years ago. They were really tiny. It’s a great location as long as you never have to park a car anywhere near there.

  • I used to live in the building next door and it’s a charming property on a charming block. I’d say good deal.
