OkayAfrica DC has delivered two spirit filled ritualistic events since its inception. The party is consistently packed to capacity with dancers and music lovers and has gained recognition for “bringing back the drum circle to U street”. DJ Underdog has curated shows with guest djs like Sam “the man” Burns, Jahsonic, Drew Cool, Native Sun, Collins and Kimozakii. Now the gate is open for dj’s i:Wah and Clark to go deep into the root of African music and house. We are ver grateful that the dancers from Urban Artistry set the party off every time and invoke the spirit of community dancing in Tropicalia.Witness the fitness of a party that is quickly becoming a mid week detox. See you on the dance floor with the drummers!
