but the vets who died gave you the right to voice your opinion. God Bless them
i'm guessing they put in some good sound buffering windows? fl ave is LOUD.
^yes. The only danger at this location is being run over by a motorist from Maryland.
Faison's writeups make me crazy. And not in a good "I'm crazy for buying this house!" way.
The Dancing Crab's commercials have to be the worst I've ever seen. The owners saying,...
I just walked through this. They have caused traffic to stop both on L stree and 19th street.
I would recommend braving the protest to go eat the smoked chicken and red beans and rice special at the Po Boy Shop today. It was delicious.
When is the anti-sloth protest? They’re doing the seven deadly sins, right?
Can’t wait for the anti-gluttony protest in front of Guy Fieri’s place in Times Square.
+1
Right on! Corner Bakery charges waaaayyyyy too much for a bowl of f*ckin’ oatmeal.
Isn’t it a bit greedy of them to take up all that space and block traffic to get a message across…
The picture looks like a Pink Floyd tribute band concert.
I wish they would have broadened the theme to protest “People Being Mean.” We could get some real change from that.
Broaden it even further to protest “People Looking At Me Funny.”
Looks like a half-assed Macy’s parade.
Ugh. I’m mostly upset they’re blocking the bike lane.
I’m sure whoever manufactured the giant pig was more than happy to take their money
“Anti-greed” does not necessarily mean “anti-capitalism” Does anyone have the details of who’s behind the protest or their specific target?
Maybe… but it usually does, at least for the majority of people who skip work (being generous here) to protest.
Or maybe they work for an organization that’s participating in the protest. Or maybe they’re a student. Or maybe they’re a person who doesn’t work a traditional 9-5 schedule. Just because they are out there protesting doesn’t mean that they are lazy hippie scum. I at least try to educate myself about what people are protesting and why before I make up my mind.
Although my observation stands, it’s clear that you are a superior person in many respects. My hat is off to you.
I am not trying to be self-righteous or anything. I genuinely value free speech (especially political speech), and I was curious about the protest. I’m not good with twitter, but I could only find one headline about it.
A quick Twitter search for “dc protest” would show you it’s not simply an “anti-greed” protest. It has to do with the sequestration and the debt.
You and your facts.
The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA.
Thank you very much.
just watched this movie the other day! well done
They’re protesting the Fix the Debt campaign, headquartered in that building on the corner of L and 19th
I work a block away and completely missed this!
I’m just waiting for the anti-protest for the anti-lust parade!
