425 11th Street, NW
Back in July 2012 we learned that White Apron would be coming to the former Chapters Literary Bookstore space at 425 11th St, NW just south of E Street. Thanks to a reader for sending word of their soft opening last week:
“Opinions around my office are decidedly mixed! Some people liked their sandwiches, and others hated them. Only six options so far, but supposedly more coming.”
After the jump, have a look at their menu.

Ever read a police report, especially when you were a victim or witness?
My spouse...
A lot has changed in this neighborhood since you lived here four years ago. Sure the area...
Just moved into my new condo in dc and it's been over two weeks and I still have not...
It's summertime, school is out and it's the weekend. Wife and I were comnig home last...
I went there after the inauguration had the turkey and my father had the italian. We both really enjoyed them. The bread and sauces were delicious! I’d like to see them add more salads as well as a heartier vegetarian sandwich though.
White Apron? What about Red Apron? And when are we going to see Plaid Apron? Hrm? What will they serve? Pancakes and maple syrup?
Can’t wait to try it, the Greek Tuna sounds fantastic. But “that will be 91 cents for those croutons” LOL! (I know, I know, with DC sales tax that takes it to an even buck – as with the other prices as well)
