I am blown away by how awesome the Lumber Shed development is starting to look. In early Dec. ’12 we learned that Agua 301 Mexican restaurant from the owners of Zest will be opening up here in addition to an Italian resaurant – Osteria Morini. There is no doubt this going to be one of the coolest spots in DC.

I had a really bad experience with that clinic as well -- though it was many years ago...
I have, and hence the angst (and crankiness). Honestly, we felt we were honoring both...
Al creepy, al won't be there
Rant: The humidity WAS awful! I am so glad to get a break from it!
Rant: My brand new...
I have an old friend whose last name is Largo. He always threatened to name his children...
Love, love, love. With this and the Boilermaker Shops, Navy Yard just keeps getting better and better.
not bad, but I liked it better the way it was before
As weird as it may be, i agree
At least it was public.
I’ll admit, I love how quiet and peaceful the Yards Park usually is and I’m trying to savor it before the influx of restaurants makes the area busier.
The place was interesting in its decrepit state, but the cocktails will be better in the renovated version
Do you have any closeup pics of it?
I posted a few more pics of the building recently… with a couple close-ups: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.577678032258168.147772.149406038418705&type=1
If not for the costs, this could be the coolest neighborhood in the city. But it will be too expensive for that. At least the rich will have a better place to live than the burbs.
I’m not sure if this is the location, but I heard that Desi Living Innovations was also looking to sign a lease in one of the buildings adjacent to Yards Park.
