If you want to see what $14,900,000 buys you on Foxhall Road you can see it here with a virtual tour here.

whoowee, the outside of that house is so ugly! it looks like some horrible mcmansion built in the 80s that you’d find in the burbs somewhere.
NEEDS MOAR COLUMNS!
For some reason, it reminds me of a bank.
If you look at the virtual tour, it’s either a different house or there has been major rework of the front of the house. The virtual tour does not have that ugly garage in the front.
Yep, different house. Virtual tour lists different address (2507 Foxhall Rd NW) as well.
That’s a different house.
Wow, after looking at the virtual tour for the 14.9 mil house, the 1.9 mil house looks positively pokey. I wouldn’t want to live in that neighborhood – too cramped, bad traffic sitch – but that is one nice house (14.9 mil).
Yeah, that’s a pretty sweet house. My favorite is the “planning room,” which is probably bigger than some studio/small 1br apartments around here.
Ha, silly me, I clicked on the 14 mil house link thinking it was the 1.9 one and thought, wow, that seems pretty good for 1.9! I have no idea how to tell if 14 mil is a “good deal or not” unfortunately.
Not crazy about the first one (mostly the exterior) but what struck me is that it’s 5600 sq ft but only 3 bedrooms. Seems like poor planning… The second one – amazing, but what the hell do you do with all of that space??
Through fabulous parties!
Why isn’t a $14.9M house staged to sell?
I want the master bedroom closet in the $14.9MM house.
What a dump of a catering kitchen…
I don’t think the $15 million house is a good deal at all.

Yes, the Foxhall house has more square footage, but what it really boils down to is spending an extra $5 million for a rubberfloor gym and an uglier facade? Dumb move.
On the 15 mill house: really, who needs 8 full baths and four more half baths. Might as well just turn it into a sexy bath house.
