1610 14th Street, NW
Back in April 2012 we learned that Executive Chef Ari Gejdenson From Acqua Al 2 would be taking over the former HR-57 space at 1610 14th St, NW next to Pearl Dive/Black Jack. I was psyched to see the new front revealed:

Some sweet history too:

While the renovations are turning out to be pretty sweet, I do admit to missing the music:

Rave: Picking up our (soon-to-be-adopted-by-us-if-all-goes-well) dog tonight! I haven't...
I like Jake's, but thanks for the heads up to never go to brunch there.
Jake's American Grill, love it or leave it. If you don't eat here, the terrorists win.
Thanks for the tip on this! As a parent of a toddler, it's nice to know that this is...
Rant: Comcast promotions just ran out, and now I'm stuck with a massive cable/internet...
i loved having HR-57 right there, but this place looks like it’s going to be sweet too.
HR-57 was one of the lamest bars in town, but the music was pretty good.
Can’t wait to try the Italian food here. We don’t have enough Italian food in town. Acqua Al #3?
you didn’t really go there for the drinkies… esp. since you could BYO. the jazz is probably the best in the city.
i also hate cheap booze & live jazz and i just can’t wait for another overpriced “italian” restaurant!
Relax, Brad, HR-57 has relocated to the “hip” neighborhood in town.
This looks great!
once the shaw dupont citizens alliance gets their moratorium we won’t be seeing any more of these
Please, please, ramp the entrance step during your renovation to provide at least some wheelchair access.
Looks fantastic! Thank god one of the local churches didn’t own it or it’d be torn down or turned into a slum.
You’re a fool…
HR-57 still exists — it just moved to H Street, NE.
