Hope you get her back soon
Unfortunately, many of the older residents would prefer empty storefronts over anything...
I had a Yorkie and it pains me to recall thoughts of when my see you next Tuesday gf left...
I hope your prayers are answered.
Our thoughts are with you.
this made my day when I received it last night!
Yes, we all had a good laugh at this last night.
We had an old University Police public affairs officer named Kenneth B. Cop. I thought it was an imaginary account for outreach, but no that was his real name.
Ofc. Wingblade is the officer that flies the mpd helicopter, Falcon 1, what a perfect name!
I wonder if Officer Wingblade is married; Emily Wingblade has a nice ring to it. We could adopt lots of little Wingblades and take over DC!
Officer Sprinkle is the original DC badass.
I laughed so hard when I got this last night – someone had fun!
There’s a memorial sign on I95 south for Officer Shaft Hunter. A guy with a name like that could only be a cop. Or a porn star.
Sidenote: I bet that picture was taken in summer. I live in Bloomingdale and it is interesting to see the tilt of the earth through the seasons. In the height of summer the sun sets right behind the National Cathedral, sometimes it looks like Monet’s painting “Houses of Parliament at Sunset”. Just as it slips below the horizon the red/orange rays reflect off of the glass skyscrapers in Roslyn and it appears the whole city is ablaze. In the winter it sets behind Roslyn actually and makes some amazing skies as it dips down at the end of the day. You can tell when the days get longer as it moves from Roslyn to the Cathedral.
You’re correct – June 27, 2012 to be precise. A few days earlier I took this one. It’s a great time of year for sunset photos
