A Look Inside Chix Dos Now Open Downtown
On Friday I mentioned that the folks from Chix had opened their second location at 1121 14th Street, NW just south of Thomas Circle (their first location is at 11th and U St, NW.) I took a peek inside yesterday and the space looks great. Another solid lunch option for those who work downtown.
We judged the original Chix back in Oct. 2011.

I must say: If you like chicken, you’re gonna love this place!
eating some right now. delicious. the cheese noodles are great as is the chicken.
I stopped in to grab dinner last night, since they’re open until 8:30 pm, and was glad to see I was not the only one there. Seems like it’ll be a post-workout dinner option for folks coming from the neighboring gym.
Not a lot of growing pains, either — the line moved pretty swiftly and food was just as good as I remembered it being at the 11th Street location. The space is nicely done and the staff was very friendly.
The 11th St. location is delicious and healthy, glad to see more of that downtown!
