  • Boo, as always most of the restaurants on here are pretty Not Worth It for the restaurant week price.

1789 Restaurant, Rasika, Oval Room–anyone know if these have good restaurant week menus? They seem like they’d be a decent deal.

    • I’ve heard good things about the Rasika RW menu. Unfortunately I’ve never been able to get a reservation to try it for myself. You should probably do it now.

    • We went to Oval Room during restaurant week maybe two years ago and it was pretty tasty. I believe they had three choices for each course.

    • 1789 had a great summer restaurant week menu when I went two years ago. It’s the one reservation that’s definitely worth it for RW

    • I’ve been to Rasika during restaurant week and it is definitely worth it. Three courses that are a smaller selection of their normal menu. They don’t have much left in terms of reservations at normal times one might want to eat, but the West End version seems to have some left.

    • I went to 1789 during RW last year, and I personally thought it ended up being a fantastic deal for how much we paid. They had a few choices for each course, and it didn’t feel like we were eating off of a menu made up of the cheapest items on the menu, like at other restaurants.

  • Many thanks for moving Restaurant week after Inauguration Week and before Valentine Day. Good move.

  • Ceiba used to be an outstanding value for Restaurant Week, but I haven’t been there for years, so I have no idea if their food is still worth it.
