  • awesome yard

  • Great deal. This is one of the best blocks in petworth and the yards are fantastic.

  • I’ve admired that house from the outside while walking my dogs, but never imagined the inside would be finished so nicely and the backyard would be so massive.

    Great deal!

  • Terrific deal. Close to Grant Circle. I bet it went over listing.

  • I love this house.

  • Beautiful job. I agree, great deal and it went a little above list.

  • Lovely house. Lucky buyers.

  • Beautiful house. I bet it went close to asking. Awesome yard!

  • I live on this block, very happy to see it go so fast. Amazing how the market there has rebounded. We got our craftsman for $370k back in 09, a month later the house next door went for $435, a year or two later the house across the street went for $520, and now this. I heard before the crash they were going for $650k. Sad to see these great neighbors go though, loved watching them out in the back yard with their family enjoying the sunday sun!

  • I’m sure this went for over list. The only drawbacks are the two bathrooms, lack of separate entrance to the basement (I think), and probably, not a lot of closet space. But other than that, I like everything about it. It’s a great block and a great location.

  • The “States Diamond” (bounded by Georgia, New Hampshire, Illinois, and Kansas Avenues) seems to have homes sell very quickly.
