DJ Marceleaux (of Bruxxsel) will be spinning pop, hiphop, schlager, rock, electro and dance musik from Germany, Austria, Turkey and beyond.
Gluehwein $2 drink special! How do people stay warm in the outdoor German holiday markets? Gluehwein! Warm, mulled, spiced wine. Try it.
All natural German street foods on the menu:
Doener (a Turkish-German delight made from the best Turkish spiced meat)
Falafel (we got you vegetarians)
Currywurst (and other wursts)
Pommes (German fries)
German sweets (ja, Gummi bears und more)And, of course, a HUGE selection of GERMAN BEERS! Wunderbar!

I moved from Logan Circle to Amberg, Germany (Bavaria) in June. We are enjoying our first winter in Germany and the Weihnachtsmarkts! Everyone back in the district needs to try Gluehwein. Being an Upstate NY native I thought I could handle this weather. BUT IT IS COLD!
kevin! i graduated from high school in vilseck, a town 20 minutes from amberg. i’m qiute jelous – there’s nothing quite like bavaria during the holidays! be sure to check out the nuremburg and munich christmas markets! and hit the slopes in garmisch!

I just want to say that Doener Bistro is the best contender in Adams Morgan/CoHi for late night drunk food. I recently got a bucket of fries covered in beef doener and that delicious white sauce. Oh my leeeeeeeeeerd. Food-gasm.
