Props to the Cops – Carjacking Vehicle Recovered

On Sat. we learned about an armed carjacking on the 1200 block of U St, NW. MPD updates:

On Saturday, December 1, 2012, at approximately 0055 hours, there was an armed carjacking in the rear of 1200 blk U Street, NW. A valet car parker was accosted by two male suspects, one of who displayed a handgun and demanded keys to a car that he had just parked. Later that day, units from the First District’s Crime Suppression Team observed the vehicle in the area of 21st and C Streets, NE. The CST members were able to make one apprehension for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and recovered the vehicle. The Third District Detectives are continuing their investigation of this matter. If anyone has any additional information related to this incident, they are encouraged to call the Metropolitan Police Department on 202-727-9099.
