Wow. That's horrible. I cannot believe the audacity of some people. Did she not thin you...
thanks for writing citykids! great addition!
I live a block away from that corner too... and it's the one area I try to avoid passing...
Rant: a friend of mine cancelled on our plans to go to a play this afternoon because she...
you do live in a transitional neighborhood. news like this is rough, but it shouldn't be...
Not getting much of anything except location. The house is very basic. I guess for some that would make it a good deal.
You, sir or madam, appear to have forgotten the three rules of real estate: 1. Location; 2. Location, and 3. Location.
Some of those photos have depth-defying perspectives. (Compare pics 3 and 4 to see how the carpet magically stretches in #4 to make the living room look much deeper.) And that’s a skinny-person kitchen.
Also, that basement has seen some water, my friends. Sadly, this is what half a mil gets you in DC.
Yup, you can clearly see the water line marking on the wall. Why they didn’t spend $100 and a weekend painting the basement just boggles my mind. Easiest fix ever.
I actually think the interior is pretty nice. The bathroom needs a gut renovation, however having only 1 bathroom is really crappy. Eventually, you would want to put in a half-bath downstairs.
The sellers could be doing full disclosue re: water line, aka not hiding it.
Pro: there’s a lot of foot and vehicle traffic on that street.
Con: there’s a lot of foot and vehicle traffic on that street.
Can anyone explain the pricing? What’s up with the $777? It’s not like that would make a difference in terms of search criteria…
It references a number for God. It’s a superstitious thing. Same reason why Jews love to give money or sell property in multiples of 18 or Chinese love to have the number 8 in everything (sales price, phone number, address, etc.)
It’s silly.
Those stairs really should get a firm steam cleaning before any open houses are done… perhaps the couches as well. It matters.
What happened to the virtual tours that used to be linked to on GDON’s? I miss them, the images were much bigger.
