  • That kitchen is atrocious.

  • At that price, the seller needs to get rid of that awful green in the kitchen.

  • I was wondering why PoP was asking specifically about the kitchen… then made it to that point in the photo tour. Dear God in heaven!! What were they thinking??

The worst thing is that the cabinets look new, and presumably somebody spent good money to achieve that terrible look.

At least if they’re IKEA cabinet fronts, the buyer would only have to buy new cabinet doors in a non-insane color, rather than have to redo the entire kitchen.

    • I would like the green if there were small pops of it (not that it would have been a smart choice for selling at any rate). I think that’s what the owners were going for, but the copious amount of cabinetry makes the color dominate the room. A smaller floor tile would have made the room look less insane also.

  • I won’t lie, I kinda love the kitchen. But i also had a whole wall in my living room painted almost that exact color.

  • I kinda like the kitchen too, but think it will look VERY DATED in a very short time. I like checkerboard floor on a diagonal because it opens up the room.

I think it’s a shame they totally eff’d up the main floor by ripping out the walls. An open floor plan in this situation, ie. in a wide rowhouse, makes no sense and is atrocious.

However, given its location and size, I think this is a remarkably good deal.

For 1.2 million they could at least replace the shutter missing on the front.

  • Do trains still honk (“whistle”) as they enter and exit the tunnel, 50 feet away?
